LocalHeroes is operated by Sleipnir Oy, Finland. This policy applies to purchases made through our online store.
30-day return and withdrawal window
You may notify us that you wish to withdraw from or return your purchase at any time before delivery or within 30 days after receiving the goods. You do not need to give a reason.
For consumers covered by statutory withdrawal rights, the first 14 days after receiving the goods are the statutory withdrawal period. LocalHeroes voluntarily extends the notification period to 30 days for eligible goods. This additional commercial period does not limit any rights under applicable consumer law.
Selecting a standard size, colour, or other option from the choices offered on a product page does not by itself remove a statutory right of withdrawal. We do not treat an ordinary print-on-demand item as exempt merely because it is produced after ordering.
How to notify us
Use our Withdraw from or return an order function, or send a clear statement to support@wearyourcity.shop identifying you, your order number, and the item or order you want to withdraw from or return. You may also use the model withdrawal form, but using the form is not mandatory. You may notify us before the goods are delivered.
Simply returning a parcel or not collecting it is not, by itself, a notice of withdrawal. After notifying us, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notice. Wait for our return instructions before sending the parcel.
Condition of returned goods
During a statutory withdrawal period, you may examine and try on the goods as you reasonably could in a shop. You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
For a voluntary return notified after the statutory period but within 30 days of delivery, the item must be clean, undamaged, and not worn beyond trying it on.
Original packaging and attached tags are not required to exercise a statutory withdrawal right, and we do not make them mandatory for the voluntary extension.
Return costs
For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods that can be sent by normal post.
You do not pay necessary return or remedy costs when the goods are defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered and LocalHeroes is responsible for the issue.
Refunds
For a full-order withdrawal made under a statutory withdrawal right, we refund the payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, the extra amount above the least expensive standard option is not refunded. Delivery-charge refunds for partial withdrawals are handled as required by applicable law.
We make a statutory-withdrawal refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds are made using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and we do not charge a refund fee.
For a voluntary return notified after the statutory period but within 30 days, we refund the price paid for the eligible returned item after receiving and inspecting it. The original outbound delivery charge is not refunded for that voluntary extension unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Size and style changes
We do not currently offer free or direct size or style exchanges. An eligible item can be returned under this policy and a new order placed separately. A defective, damaged, or incorrect item is handled under the next section at no cost to you where LocalHeroes is responsible.
Defective, damaged, or incorrect goods
Rights relating to defective goods are separate from the change-of-mind return window and are not limited to 30 days. If an item is defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered, email support@wearyourcity.shop as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and a description of the issue. We may ask for information or photos reasonably needed to assess it.
LocalHeroes is responsible for handling the claim and will not require you to resolve it with our manufacturer or fulfilment provider. Where statutory liability applies, repair or replacement is arranged free of charge, within a reasonable time, and without significant inconvenience. Where the legal conditions are met, other remedies may include a price reduction or cancellation and refund. We also cover necessary return and investigation costs for a valid defect or fulfilment-error claim.
